It’s cool that you were able to experience a Chinese New Year in the biggest Chinatown in the US. I was just at the Philly one two weeks back, and I’m sure this was much better. Don’t knock the service at a Dim Sum place as long as the food’s good…the steamed shrimp dumplings are one of my all time favorites. I’ve learned over the years with Dim Sum that if you ask for something that’s not on a cart (like your tea) and don’t get it you need to ask again. In most of those places you don’t have an assigned waiter unless you are ordering from the menu.
